On June 13, 2026, I had the privilege of appearing on the Truth Network’s Kingdom Pursuits . The show explores “the stories of men and women who take what they love and let God turn their passion into kingdom pursuits.” That description meant a great deal to me, because that is exactly what I pray The Way Ahead will be: not merely a book, but a kingdom pursuit centered on Jesus Christ. I described it as “the Christian guidebook I wrote on Jesus Christ and living today in a noisy, divided spiritual age.” I did not write it because I had all the answers.   On February 19, 2026, The Way Ahead reached the top  spot on Amazon in the Spiritual Gifts category. Two days later, it’s still holding steady at third  — and at fourth  in Men’s Inspirational both days. We’ve also remained in the Top 25 in Christian Faith, which is a category filled with extraordinary voices and serious competition. As a first-time author, I couldn’t be more grateful. But more than rankings, what moves me is this: the message is reaching people. That was always the prayer. I didn’t write The Way Ahead to climb charts. I wrote it to point people to Christ — to encourage deeper faith, biblical clarity, and a steady walk with the Lord in a restless age. If these rankings mean anything, I pray they simply mean that God is placing this book into the hands of those who need it.   Seek Presence: Don’t work so hard trying to compete with other believers, impress anyone, or appear perfect before God. Try again on another day when you have more time to process: sit with Him silently and be present to Him, without acting or trying. Let Renewal Begin: Renewal isn't going to happen at some future date when life slows down a bit, and you're "ready." It is an option you can exercise right now. Keep taking courageous steps in God’s way, and let repentance continue to turn you back towards His love — this has always been a part of what He has already called you to. Jesus Meets You: Faith is something that God wants to continue moving in you. Spiritual maturity is realizing that God has given you a new heart and learning to live in the grace He’s gifted, as life changes.
