Deep Faith All Year Round
Faith Is Living from God:
Faith may seem to appear out of nowhere in your everyday life. God plants in your heart the gospel and, over time, brings you increasingly to trust in the Messiah, never yielding or giving up. Even when your faith feels humble and weak—when you are licking your wounds, and hope seems gone—God Himself is still the One who holds you fast.
God Is Always Busy:
How does your faith grow? God uses each season to satisfy you with the daily bread of the finest kind. On good days, He shows Himself. The Spirit is still busy behind the scenes, changing your heart day by day for His glory.
Responding to God’s Grace:
So simple a pattern for growth: God makes you grow. You are not doing the work; instead, God’s grace works in you for transformation. The Bible, prayer, and honest fellowship with other believers every day can help you walk alongside what the Spirit is doing. In these ways, God strengthens your trust in Christ.
Trusting Christ Through Every Season:
Even when you think you have only just begun, still God is at work in you. Even when you're waiting for answers, and it seems that you take three steps forward only to fall back two, His purpose in Christ stands nonetheless. But whether you are conscious of it or not, today is where the rubber meets the road, so that you can believe in Jesus all over again, keep on going by foot, carefully relying on what you know of Him.
